Raymond E. Saunders

For over 65 years, clients have counted Raymond E. Saunders among their most trusted advisors – not just in law but in all aspects of their business. Ray centers his practice around corporate structure, business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, income tax, trusts, estate and gift tax (including cross-generational transfer and ownership of business).

As one of his long-time partners once summarized, Ray “is an incredibly capable lawyer who, in the course of handling the multitude of details involved in a legal matter, never loses sight of the important business issues.” He is technically proficient as a Certified Public Accountant, but Ray’s strength is his pragmatic approach and ability to craft simple solutions to complex problems. He has developed the skill of providing concise and simple oral and written explanations of complex legal and business matters.

Ray acted as the sole managing partner of Lawrence Kamin for over 20 years. As a senior partner of the firm, Ray enjoys working with and supervising other attorneys. However, he enjoys the practice of law so much that he remains immersed in the important decisions of clients.
