Regina S. Murillo


Regina “Gina” S. Murillo focuses her practice on commercial real estate with an emphasis on acquisitions, dispositions, leasing and development. Her experience includes managing and substantively assisting with all phases of transactions from negotiation of purchase agreements to post-closing issues for retail, office, medical and industrial properties. Gina also has significant experience negotiating office, retail, industrial and residential leases on behalf of both landlords and tenants.

Gina has represented a range of clients, from large institutional investors to mid-market real estate investment and development companies, to small investors in multi-family properties. As a skilled communicator with a friendly demeanor, Gina aims to simplify complex legal issues for her clients and make transactions run as smoothly as possible, taking the stress out of even the most difficult matters. To that end, she strives to understand and achieve her client’s business goals by getting deals closed as quickly and efficiently as possible.

In prior positions, Gina was an associate at Freeborn & Peters in the firm’s Real Estate practice group and Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Real Estate and Law-Leasing groups at General Growth Properties. In her spare time, Gina enjoys going to baseball games and Latin and ballroom dancing.
