Prominent Lawrence Kamin partner and litigation attorney, Mitchell B. Goldberg, has been appointed as an Associate Judge in the Cook County Circuit Court in Chicago. Mitch was one of 44 candidates selected from 225 applicants by a nominating committee led by Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans. Each applicant was evaluated by the Chicago Bar Association and the Alliance of Bar Associations before all 249 circuit court judges cast their votes in a closed election to select 22 associate judges.
“I am exceedingly humbled and honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of serving as an associate judge,” said Mitch, after receiving the exciting news about his appointment. “I am truly grateful for all of the encouragement and support I have received throughout this process from family, friends and my beloved colleagues at Lawrence Kamin.”
