Before joining Lawrence Kamin, Alek gained experience across corporate compliance, government, and private practice. He began his career in the insurtech sector, working on commercial contracts, regulatory matters, and corporate transactions. He later served as a prosecutor for the City of Chicago, where he gained substantial courtroom experience, before moving into private practice. This varied background informs his practical, business-focused approach to commercial litigation.
